a) The point (1, 0) is reflected in the line y=mx. Find the new coordinates of this point.

b) Hence or otherwise, if t=\tan(\tfrac{\theta}{2}), determine \sin\theta and \cos\theta in terms of t.

c) A particle’s position after time t is modelled by the reflection of the point (1, 0) in the line y=tx. What does the distance travelled by the particle approach as t \to \infty (t goes from 0 to \infty) ?
