We are delighted to share that Cambridge Maths School has been awarded the highest rating in all three areas assessed during our recent Ofsted monitoring visit in January 2025. The report highlights our significant progress and commitment to delivering a high-quality specialist mathematics education.

Key Findings

• Top Ratings in All Areas – Ofsted awarded CMS the highest category for curriculum design, quality of education, and safeguarding.
• Exceptional Teaching and Learning – Our highly qualified teachers were praised for their ability to challenge and support students, fostering deep problem-solving skills and mathematical curiosity.
• Strong Student Development – Students benefit from group research projects with external mentors from universities and tech companies, developing essential academic and career-focused skills.
• Excellent Safeguarding Culture – CMS was commended for creating a safe and supportive learning environment where all students feel secure and well-supported.
• Dedicated Leadership and Governance – The school’s leadership, supported by the Eastern Learning Alliance, was recognised for its strong vision, continuous improvement, and proactive governance.
